Protecting my community gives hope, serving my community brings change

Thank you for your interest in my campaign. My name is Joshua Rodriguez, and I am running for Long Beach Mayor. This is a great city with wonderful citizens and amazing potential. I want to see Long Beach maximize that potential while helping it to remain a safe and clean city in which to live. My parents immigrated to this great country after fleeing the horrors of the civil war in El Salvador. As a first-generation American, I appreciate and am eternally grateful for the opportunities the United States has afforded me and my family. When you hear the name “Joshua Rodriguez” you should think of a neighbor, a husband, a father, an active police officer, a college graduate, and a marine corps veteran.
